Meeting document guide
Export meeting notes to PDF, Word, Markdown, or book-style notes
Start by reading the meeting on the website. A short summary is useful, but the decisions and assigned actions are often what your colleagues need next. Correct the draft before you create a document that others may treat as the final record.
Decinote provides Word, PDF through your device’s print dialog, Markdown, and book-style HTML exports. Choose the format for the next task: editing, sharing, moving text to another tool, or keeping a readable archive.
A practical workflow
Open the meeting and read the notes
Sign in, open the library, and choose Read notes for the saved meeting. Review the summary, key points, decisions, and actions. Compare uncertain claims with the transcript and recording. An AI draft can miss a qualification or turn a suggestion into a decision.
Save a clear, language-matched record
Correct names and figures, remove unsupported conclusions, and confirm action owners and due dates. Save your edits. Check the document language: French notes should have French headings, while Arabic notes should use Arabic headings and right-to-left layout. Changing this setting does not translate existing content.
Choose the format that fits your next step
Choose Word for an editable .docx document. Choose PDF to open the device’s print workflow, then select Save as PDF when available. Choose Markdown for plain text with lightweight headings. Choose Book-style notes for a readable HTML document that opens in a browser; this is an HTML export, not an EPUB book.
Inspect the file before sharing
Open the downloaded document and check page breaks, long action items, dates, and Arabic text direction. For PDF, inspect the print preview before saving. Keep sensitive details only if the recipients need them, and use a useful filename with the meeting subject and date.
Choose a format with confidence
- Word keeps the document editable. Its layout can vary across word processors, so review the file in the application your team uses.
- PDF depends on the browser and device print dialog. If your embedded browser does not show it, open Decinote in a full supported browser and try again.
- Markdown is useful for moving text between tools; book-style HTML is useful for reading in a browser. These exports do not automatically publish a meeting on the internet.
Common questions
Can a client read notes without downloading a file?
Yes. The signed-in owner can read the saved meeting’s notes and transcript in the Decinote library. Exports are optional. Access to a private workspace is not the same as a public sharing link.
Why are my headings Arabic but a paragraph is still French?
The document-language setting changes headings and direction, not the text already saved. Select the correct spoken language for new meetings, and edit an older document’s content before exporting it when a translation or correction is needed.
