Terms of use

These terms set the basic rules for using Decinote. Mandatory consumer rights in your country continue to apply.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Your account

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your email and sign-in provider, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.

Recording responsibility

You may record only when you have a lawful basis and all required participant permissions. You must not record confidential, private, protected, or regulated information unless you are authorized to do so and Decinote is appropriate for that use. The in-product acknowledgement is a record of your confirmation; it is not legal advice or consent collected from participants.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you upload or create. You grant Decinote and its service providers the limited rights needed to store, process, transmit, protect, and display that content solely to operate the service. You must have the rights needed to provide the content and must not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or malicious material.

Captions and generated notes

Captions, transcripts, summaries, decisions, and action items can be incomplete or wrong. They are drafts for human review, not professional, legal, medical, financial, or employment advice. Verify important facts against the recording and the people involved before relying on them.

Plans, payments, and gift access

  • Plan limits for recording time, storage, and capture modes are shown before use and may be enforced automatically.
  • Where paid checkout is enabled, the checkout shows the price, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation controls before purchase. Signed payment-provider events determine paid access.
  • Gift codes have their own validity dates, eligibility, duration, redemption limit, and stacking rules. They have no cash value and may be revoked before redemption if issued in error or obtained through abuse.
  • Administrators may block app access without modifying an underlying payment record. Payment cancellation, refunds, and invoices must be managed through the designated billing flow.

Availability and device limits

Decinote is a web application. Room audio and camera support depend on browser and device permissions. Screen capture is available only where the browser and operating system expose it, generally on supported desktop browsers. Network loss, device sleep, browser suspension, limited storage, or revoked permissions can interrupt capture. Keep important source material and confirm that a recording is saved before leaving the page.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, comply with law, address non-payment, enforce plan limits, investigate abuse, or prevent security harm. The protected owner account cannot be removed through ordinary administrator controls. You may stop using the service and request account closure by contacting support@decinote.com.

Service terms and contact

The service is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised. Liability is not excluded where the law does not allow exclusion. The legal operator, applicable tax information, and any additional commercial terms will be identified in the account contract or checkout before a paid purchase. Questions can be sent to support@decinote.com.
